BESTA proprietary hydro filter spark arrestor is designed to capture 100% of sparks and flames produced by the oven’s hot charcoal load during operation.
The overhead air cleaning system with the built-in hydro filter spark arrestor provides effective multi-stage removal of exiting particulate contaminants, such as:

In addition, the built-in water pump creates four-layer water flow that cools exiting smoke down to 130 F and significantly slows down combustion gases, thus making the finer ash and soot particulate from the air stream fall into the water basin where they stay captured.
BESTA hydro filter spark arrestor operates in three modes:
- Working Mode … Power and water supply are on. Automatic on/off engage. Water is sprayed by the pump
- Alarm Mode … Power is off and water supply is temporarily off. Arrestor switches to dry mode
- Self-cleaning Mode … removing captured soot, grease, ash and tar (monthly full cleaning is recommended)
